Different perspectives

” I hope the Tribune is happy. The Tribune is against any government spending. Even worse than not stopping these cuts is the Tribune’s fight to kill the Highwood plant. The Tribune has been against Highwood from day one and will do anything it can to stop it.”

This Trib forum poster (Skybig) doesn’t like the reporting. Neither does this blogger.

“The reporter then reports that “critics” disagree and, in 280 words, the inquiry ends.I think the Tribune can, and should, do better than this.”

“So, if the City officials won’t say it, and if the Tribune - apparently content to simply accept the City’s representations at face value without doing a whit of research - won’t say it, who informs the electorate what is really happening?”

But they certainly differ about the Tribune’s coverage of basically the same issue.

Facinating.

Seems the Tribune has engaged agent provocateurs to give the impression they are not the city’s lap dog.
