What a difference a couple years makes.

“David, my question to Mayor Gray was never answered to my saisfaction. The second part if you recall was,”What will you do if the Northwestern deal falls through?” He failed to address that at all. We are already into it for over $100,000, with another $100,000 pending for the “Guarantee” to NW.
That’s a lot of money already!”

In October of 2005 I told Mayor Gray that buying NW was just not going to happen. He asked me if I worked for NW. No I answered. He told me it was just like the sewer service. Now this year I learn that we contract out to a private company that service. Now fast forward to earlier this year 2007, I ask financial questions at an ECP Board meetings and Former Mayor Gray tells me he does not like me insinuating that city staff was pocketing funds. I wasn’t - nor would anything I said lead a rational person to that idea. My questions, always asked qith utmost humbleness were sometimes answered with shrugs or sneers or huffs or a combination of those three. I feel like I have to run for office.

And another thing, the latest Comprehensive Financial Report has a section RE: ECP. They were anticipating $75,000 FROM MPPI Inc. but did not get it. So how does money move between those two entities? I asked Cherly Patton but I can’t do justice to the gibberish that came from her lips.
