I think I’ve been insulted.

I was told I don’t have a bubbly personality. I’m crushed. (Of course, at the time, I may have been cursing. A little. But it was bubbly cursing, really… )

Then I was told I have “lost my muse”. Sorry, but I told that lazy wench to go get a damn job. Bout time she did something, besides sitting around poking at sleeping dogs.

Speaking of sleeping dogs, I hear the City Commission has extended the time limit for citizen comments to a whole five minutes, instead of three.  Good thing they only limit time, instead of content, because, like, I read somewhere that was wrong.

In other news, the local Culligan Water franchise has purchased Central Solutions. This is in this weeks Tribune, even though it happened a month ago. This is a “good marriage” for Culligan, because “if a service call about a leaky water softener reveals the problem is really with a water heater, the technician can fix it.” Except the “technician” can’t, unless the “technician” is a licensed plumber. Of course, no mention is made of the shop Central Solutions replaced, that had real plumbers, instead of “technicians”.

I wonder if a “technician” makes more money than a plumber, since there is no demand for plumbers in Great Falls, and they all have to move to support their families while waiting for economic development in Great Falls. Course, a plumber has to have that card, wonder what a “technician” has.

Makes you wonder how all those new homes are being built, without plumbers, electrician and carpenters. Kinda makes you wonder why there are so many help wanted jobs for plmbers too. Oh, wait, I forgot. There is no development in Great Falls. We’re all poor starving bastards with no jobs, unless of course, in its infinite wisdom, the City manages to build Highwood, then we’ll see some economic development by god. Kinda like that economic boom the sign code brought us. Or the extra jump we got from Explore! the Big Sky. Only on a bigger scale. Thank goodness we have people watching out for us, what would we do with ourselves!

Was that bubbly?

Firefly; I would have thought that by buying CS, Culligan would have hired some plumbers.

It is nice to have some diversity in the family ownership of the plumbing shops in town …

If CS had had any plumbers to begin with…

What do you mean by diversity in family ownership?
