Sandwich boards are allowed on public property in the Central Business District only…
If the structure is nonconforming it must be made conforming or be removed…
Provided such signs do not exceede 16 square feet in area and 4 feet in height in residential districts..
Ahh, professional quality, temporary sign restrictions, something about faces must must be UL rated…
Supposed to have bollards to avoid this problem…?

All city departments report to the City Commission through the City Manager, which diffuses repsonsibility among the Mayor and 4 Commissioners, BUT if the City Manager reported directly to the Mayor, then there would be one person, the Mayor, to whom you could direct your question about City enforcement.

Actually, I was being a bit facetious (treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor) by my remarks.
Meanwhile, I suppose I’ve got an ordinance to really study up on before I run off the ends of the earth spending money on a new sign…. my luck is such that says as soon as I put something up, the city will march right in and make me take it down…
